Note: Hosting runs from $4.00 – $7.00 per month depending upon your payment plan.
So here’s what I’ll do:
- Install and configure WordPress software (i.e. put up your site using WordPress and set it up to either have a static home page with or without a blog or just as a blog)
- Install the theme of your choice – there are tons to choose from, just check this out.

- Install plug ins that will help you with
- search engine rankings
- allow people to subscribe to and follow comments left on your blog
- fight spammers
- have a contact form on your Contact Page
- and get some stats on your visitors
- Send you a basic How To Manual and a video with some additional resources if you want some more advanced stuff.
What’s not included:
- Move content over from another site.
- My service will give you a foundation that will give you a blank website or blog, ready for you to fill with new, spectacular content. If you need to migrate content, let me know and I can refer you to someone who can help.
- Personal blog tutoring
I will give you a video and manual explaining how to
- add pages and posts
- screen comments
- updates of WordPress and Plugins as needed
- configure the sidebar if you want one

Support
I’m a very nice person so if you have a question here or there, I’m usually happy to answer it. But you really shouldn’t think of this as “support,” as in “let’s call tech support.” If your site breaks, you should call the hosting company, but if you’re interested in learning more than what is in the video and manual then I will refer you to the WordPress Codex or WP 101
Don’t worry. WordPress is easy, and the video and manual I’ll give you will show you how to do everything you need to use your site. Easy Peasy, I promise!
How this works
Ready to buy? Well, you can go ahead and skip on down to the big BUY NOW button and click on it. But if you’d like a bit more detail on the procedure, here’s the nitty gritty:
When you complete your payment process you will be taken to a page with The Easy Peasy, Step-by-Step Getting Started Process that will guide you through:
- Buying your hosting (your site’s online “home”) and domain name (the .com or .net or whatever address where people can find it)
- Picking a theme that will determine what your blog looks like
- Sending me the information I need
- the hosting log-in info, theme choice, etc (Don’t worry, I can’t get at your credit card info or anything with that log-in info. You should probably log in yourself and poke around to assure yourself of this.)
Then, within a few days, I will have your blog all set up.
I’ll send you
- Access to the The Easy Peasy How To video and manual
- Instructions on how to get to access to your blog and the administration panel (which is where you’ll write posts and all that stuff).
And you change your passwords so that I can’t get back into your stuff. (I wouldn’t anyway but just so you are comfortable with your sites security, I recommend it.)
